River Seeker

a lost soul seeking hope

to be in someone else’s photos

Developing strangers’ photographs reminds me that my life is not the norm. In their photos, life if thrilling and worth documenting.

Late night parties.

Weddings.

Vacations.

I see these snapshots and can’t deny that aching feeling of loneliness that paralyzes my heart.

Working in the film lab has taught me that to be featured in another person’s photographs is a gift that most take for granted.

I’m in no one’s photos. Always out of frame and never a fixture in the memories of others.

How sad…
